Family Emergency Plans

Critically important to a resilient community is the preparing citizens do ahead of a disaster. Making plans detailing what you and your family will do when a disaster strikes can make the difference between a strong, rapid response, and a confused and arduous response. FEMA has a number of resources for you to use to develop your plan.

Once you develop your plan, the next important task is to practice the plan. An untested plan is no plan at all.
